My mum has been a fan of juicing since I was a little girl – we have at least five rather expensive juicers at home. Then there’s also her need for us to take in enough fibre. That includes unpolished rice and fresh fruits and vegetables, the latter two often made into juice or eaten fresh.
After moving out of my family home, I still try to practice juice, fruits and vegetables consumption, by buying myself a (beetroot, carrot, ginger, green apple and celery) juice each morning on my way to work. Of course, the absence of two maids makes it harder for me to indulge in my usual fruit platter which I usually consume three times a week as a meal replacement.
I was approached to try this JoyAmaze Hartwell health drink a couple of weeks back, and was admittedly intrigued by the health benefits that came with it. Notably the claims that it reduces total cholesterol and LDL and that it offers high dietary fibre –JoyAmaze Hartwell was founded in California and promotes healthy living.
Each box comes with 30 sachets, enough to last you for 15 days (2 sachets a day). While the label recommends taking the drink as it is, I like drinking it with fruit enzyme. Reason being, I usually drink my mum’s power juices with her fruit enzyme so it has become a personal habit. On its own, the JoyAmaze Hartwell health drink tastes like the juices mum would make, but a lot less bitter hahaha!
Showed JoyAmaze Hartwell to my mum who’s a Nazi when it comes to health products and she gave it the green light. The drink boasts natural cholesterol lowering agent and prebiotics to prevent constipation and promote gastrointestinal health. I take this together with my regular dose of Acai Fibre for overall wellness.
One of the things that got me interested in trying JoyAmaze Hartwell is the presence of Beta Glucan, a compound that helps in cholesterol flush out. I somewhat expected my cholesterol level to be slightly on the high side, and this was confirmed when I did the test – 5.38mmol/L.
I eat a lot of good food when I go for food reviews so I try and make sure my food intake at home (especially at my parents) is healthy. Still, it’s good to keep my cholesterol level below 5.2mmol/L. After a week of drinking JoyAmaze Hartwell, my cholesterol level did reduce. It’s currently at 4.37/L but that’s also because I’ve been watching what I eat the last few days. It’s not a magic drink; you need to couple it with healthy eating and exercise to see results.
JoyAmaze Hartwell is suitable for all ages, and is low in sugar, fat and carbohydrate. It contains no dairy, GMO, laxative or gluten. If you’re keen to try, a box costs RM59.90 and is available for purchase in all leading pharmacies and Chinese medical halls, you can also purchase online here. Find out more about JoyAmaze Hartwell on www.joyamaze.com.my or follow them on Facebook at JoyAmazeOfficial.
With each sale of JoyAmaze Hartwell, RM0.50 and 10% of the profit will be allocated for JoyAmaze philanthropic supported programs. Staying healthy and doing good for others – double win! ;)

Hello…where do you buy the Acai fibre?thanks
Hi Pei San,
The acai fiber is no longer in the market. It ceased production three years ago. I’ve been looking for a suitable replacement ever since, and am giving Hartwell a shot. Hope this clarifies matters.
Sad…..can i request for a juicer review? Hihihi since you and your mum are so experience in this. It will be good to help us who want to buy a good juicer. Thank you. Happy Valentine’s day to you
My mum gets her juicers from overseas, but I was told the hurom juicer is pretty good. You can find it at La Juiceria.
