Real And Wholesome (RAW) Coffee @ Kuala Lumpur
During lunch at Cilantro, Charles tasted my latte and told me it wasn’t up to standard. “Put this coffee down and I’ll buy you REAL coffee on the way back,” he said. Since he knows much more about coffee than I do, I left my latte behind.

Cute barista, and the Kees van der Westen lever espresso machine
We got our coffee to go because I had another appointment to catch — excuse the takeaway cup. My latte (RM10) was nothing like the coffees I had tasted before. This was creamy with a defined espresso flavour and a smooth, sweet finish. While RM10 seems like a steep price tag, you’re paying for quality coffee. RM10 can get you a large latte elsewhere, but I don’t think it tastes anywhere as good.

i like the coffee here too, but the opening hours are a bit tricky for an after-work stop. though i guess most people prefer to have their caffeine in the morning and early afternoon 😀
