A good pizza can be quite comforting after a rough day and I”ve been experiencing many of that sort lately. Rough days, I mean. Not the good pizzas. I did however try a pretty good pizza place in Solaris Dutamas called Fahrenheit 600.
The restaurant is a cross between a diner and pizzeria; with brick walls and cute posters across, and a large wood fire brick oven. Fahrenheit 600″s pizzas, pastas and sandwiches are baked in a constant temperature of 600 fahrenheit, hence the name.
I noticed the pizza base is thicker and chewier, but at the same time soft. One of my favourites happen to be Henry the Duck (RM31.90 for 12inch), topped with smoked duck, avocado, orange slices and cherry tomatoes. It was a good combination and very addictive too.
The Fahrenheit 600 (RM25.90 for 12inch) is a signature dish comprising eggplant slices, olives, sundried tomatoes and feta cheese for a rich texture and flavour.
Meat Lover Calzone (RM19.90) comprised roast beef, minced beef, cherry tomato, onions, mushrooms, green pepper and cheese, and baked till the crust is golden brown.
I really enjoyed the Carbonara Cheese Baked Spaghetti (RM19.90), a hearty portion of pasta with mushroom, carbonara sauce and beef bacon, topped with cheese and baked till the top Cogliamo l’occasione per ricordare che la software house Microgaming (che offre la propria piattaforma non solo al casino Voglia di Vincere ma anche ad altri marchi sia del mercato italiano che internazionale, come ad esempio Betway ed All Slots), resta quella che maggiormente implementa e sviluppa nuove slot machine online e quindi se desiderate provare, magari solo per divertimento, una vasta gamma di slot machines vi consigliamo vivamente di utilizzare magari proprio l’operatore che abbiamo utilizzato noi. is melted and crusty.
Equally satisfying was the mushroom and eggplant lasagna (RM16.90) – generously filled with cheese for a heartier bite. The chicken gratin (RM16.90) was not too bad, although, I”m not a fan of chicken breast. Thankfully, this was fairly moist and tasty from the lashings of béchamel sauce.
Fahrenheit 600 also serves decent coffee, but it was the zebra hot chocolate that knocked my socks off. I would order that again. And again. 🙂
Service was friendly when I was there but there were areas where it could be better. Like providing smaller plates without us requesting since the entirely family ordered large pizzas to share.

Ambiance: 7/10
Price: 6/10
Food: 7/10 (pork free)
Verdict: A pretty good place for pizzas with a twist.

Hey there,
They’re closed on Tuesdays, just in case somebody goes there relying on the information here and ends up disappointed. I’m not sure if they still have the zebra hot chocolate unfortunately, but I know that the coffee and drinks menu has been revamped. Now with a brand new Synesso machine and a Mazzer Grinder while beans are from 5senses (tea too actually but i have not tried them), the cup is sure to impress. Talk to the barista, Pablo, who owns the coffee bar, very friendly and down to earth, would share anything about coffee with you, from harvesting coffee cherries to the percentage of minerals the water should have that’s used in the process of making coffee. One of my favourites is the Single Origin Hot Chocolate from Bahen&Co, most likely the first to serve here in Malaysia, some say it has winy notes or plum like flavours, for me it tasted a little bit like dark cherries with cocoa, perfect with the steamed farmhouse milk. Its my favourite place not only because it has what others do not have, but because Pablo is a very genuine nice guy who has so much passion to serve the best cup consistently to everyone, whether its coffee enthusiasts or a hipster who just wants a picture out of it.
Hope to see more coffee related posts, would be great to be able to catch up with the coffee industry here while I am away for a year. Liking the info and personal opinions about it.
Feel free to ask me anything about cafes or coffee. I’m one of your long lost readers that have not visited your blog for some time, i used to comment that i love your Nosh pictures, the cakes. Haha.
Sam.
Thanks for the update, Samuel.
Do share your coffee recommendations with me. Would love to explore other coffee places. 🙂
