It’s been almost half a year since I left the corporate world and for the longest time, I was unable to adapt back to agency life where outfits are more casual and colours are welcomed. That said, some things are no longer the same as I’ve gotten accustomed to loose silhouettes, flowy skirts and tapered pants.
What I love about being in the creative world is the freedom of showing a bit more skin without the HR department making a big “hoo-haa” about my attire. I’ve had my fair share of those because the “appropriate” hemline guide to them is at least 5 inches longer than social standards. 🙄
Here’s a lookbook I put together for this month’s fashion feature – great for looking chic at the office and happy hour ready at the end of the day. There’s definitely more colours and prints this time around, but I still can’t do without tapered pants and the colour blue!
