When I was packing for Japan, I wasn’t sure if it was going to be very cold as the weather forecast said it was between 15-20°C. But I was also informed that it was raining and cloudy the week before my departure, and was asked to pack warmer clothes.
When I visited Lake Tazawa in Akita Prefecture, I was somewhat prepared – it was about 18 degrees but very sunny. These are some of my favourite pieces, which I’ve worn many times but never together. But I thought the combination worked just fine, with above the knee boots.
The weather got colder come sunset, so that’s when my jacket comes in handy. If you’re wondering, Lake Tazawa the deepest lake in Japan and gleams a vivid sapphire blue under the sun. 🙂
