In a blink of an eye, it’s Christmas & New Year’s already! If you’re like me and tend to procrastinate on things, you’ll soon find yourself with a ton of festive invites and NOTHING to wear! To save you from that trouble, I’ve created 3 looks for 3 occasions. :)
#1 Home Lunches
This look is perfect for more casual occasions where you’re with your close friends & family. It’s a great look for hiding your overindulged tummy while still maintaining a chic & comfortable appearance.
As there’s no reason to sacrifice style for comfort. An oversized top ensures your post Christmas dinner(s) is not saying a big, bold ‘HELLO’ to the world. The maxi skirt sits at the waist, cinching it in slightly to create a slimmer silhouette. No one will know that you spent last night finishing up Santa’s milk & cookies! ;)

Eye palette from Urban Decay, sheer lipstick from Shiseido
As the setting for this outfit is a little casual, go for neutral eyes and a sheer lipstick. The eye palette will help bring definition to your eyes while the lipstick is moisturizing enough you can use it like a tinted lipbalm (no mirrors needed!).
Little gold & pearl details add a touch of elegance to your look and take you from I-woke-up-like-this to I-woke-up-fabulous.
#2 Boxing Day Brunches
When it comes to the year-end festive seasons, I love wearing white! White reminds me of the snow we do not have here in Malaysia, so I love incorporating white to my outfits.

Jumpsuit from Love Bonito, shoes from Zalora
I started off the look with a clean palette in a tube white jumpsuit & beige pointed heels.
To add interest & dimension to this look, I paired up the clean white jumpsuit & pumps combo with a colourful, ethnic inspired choker necklace. A choker necklace pairs up perfectly with a tube neckline as it sits comfortably right between the collarbones & ends right at your décolletage.
To keep this look monochromatic with a pop off colour, paint your nails in shades of black and/or white and complete it with a bold winged liner & tons of mascara!
#3 Fancy Dinners
Got that fancy dinner party with friends? Here is your chance to go all out glam!
I wanted the theme of this post to be rather minimalistic, so I kept the accessories to a minimum and let the dress stand out on its own. This midi dress in a stretchable knit ensures you stay comfortable all night long; the fabric is smooth & stretchy which skims & hugs your body perfectly.
There’s something edgier & sexier about pairing up a dark navy blue dress with a bold red lip. I just love the contrast of cool blue against warm, rich red.
Add a little glitz to your nails with a shimmery blue-silver nail polish.
Finish up this look with skyscraper strappy heels & dainty necklace and you’re ready to party the night away!
When it comes to creating looks for the festive season, always be sure that you’re comfortable & confident in whatever you put on. After all, confidence is a woman’s best accessory! Of course, a bold red lip, winged liner & killer pumps don’t hurt either. ;)
Let us know in the comments down below, which of these looks are your favourite. We’d love to hear from you! :)
