Three years ago, I would have laughed and snorted at the idea of working in corporate. Back then, my wardrobe comprised jeans, tank tops and miniskirts – all acceptable in my previous line of work. The transition from a casual work environment to a corporate one was a struggle.

I didn’t know what was deemed too short, too tight or too colourful for work, and the HR lady often pointed it out (unpleasantly) to me. I disliked her and still do, until today.

But those days are long gone and I have a wardrobe full of work dresses that fortunately aren’t boring, thanks to my sponsors – they understand the nature of my job and choose outfits that would best suit my day to day, even weekends.
