One of the highlights of my stay in Bali last October was a visit to a hidden gem in Seminyak called Slippery Stone, an art gallery, restaurant and lounge with a view of the rice field. It was my last day on the island and I was just looking forward to a relaxing afternoon before catching my flight back to Kuala Lumpur that night.
I love this place. :D
The view is stunning and although sunny that afternoon, I had quite a bit of island breeze which made it even more perfect to laze around. I had a couple of strawberry daiquiris (IDR99,000 each) and these babies were good!
The ambiance was perfect for a leisurely afternoon/evening with friends. So much that I felt sorry for rif, because he wasn’t there to take in the experience. Service was decent because my friend and I were the only customers there on a Tuesday afternoon. Such is life in Bali.
I didn’t order anything to eat because my friend fed me a huge slab of ribs prior to this, but looking at the menu, food prices are fairly reasonable. Definitely worth a visit when you’re in Bali!

Whose the friend, must be a porky guy. Unfortunately and sadly this place was bought by an Australian and they are remodeling into something noisy. Pity, all it took or needed from the old restaurant was some promotion.
Yeah that friend was a real oinkers. :P
What?! Already? I love that place… :( :(
