Coconut jelly is widely available in Klang Valley, but the most talked about coconut jelly is from Joez Coconut in Penang. The star product is none other than the coconut jelly, made from pasteurized fresh young coconut juice.
Coconut Jelly
Each spoonful was smooth, wobbly and great as a thirst quencher. Coconut water is said to have a cooling effect on the body, and the coconut jelly serves the same purpose. While most people use a spoon to eat coconut, Ken recommends using a large straw. I tried it, but decided the spoon is better. 🙂
Coconut Shake
I also tried the coconut shake, which I didn’t quite enjoy. It was too sweet and the balance wasn’t quite there. There is a retail kiosk in KL Sentral, so if you need a coconut jelly treat, you know where to get one!
