Food Vlog: JM Bariani House

by Bangsar Babe

Remember my nasi beriani phase here and here? And that time when rif and I drove down to Batu Pahat just to eat the famous Baryani Mohd Shah and Restoran Bariani Power? Yes, we love going for random trips like that, but if you’re not one who can stand the long journey, here’s where you can get your nasi beriani fix — JM Bariani House, Subang Jaya.

Enjoy!

Hmmm… Did they serve it this way in separate plates now, or by your special request? The last time i went, about a year ago, the kambing was served in the same plate, with the acar separated. Portion was extremely small, even my colleague who can never finish up her lunch, had no problem gobbling it down. It was rather pricey too based on that portion.

It was served separately. Portions were alright for me. Yes, I agree that it’s a bit pricey. :/

gladly to see that someone finally recognize this place as the restaurant’s main branch! 🙂 NOT the one in Shah Alam

Ya…always wondered how come people thought the Shah Alam branch was the main outlet.

wah lau your bariani craving very jialat liao. worse than me. Oh, if you are in Singapore, check out the one called Shami Banana Leaf along Sembawang Road. They also have an outlet in Northpoint Shopping Centre in Yishun. Perpetual queue. Their version is quite mild but fragrant and so appeals to lots of people. I used to eat it about 3 times a week…. So far I found none in JB. So a trip to BP is a must!
