London Bound

by Bangsar Babe

Thank you Haig Club, for the invite!

As I write this, I’m on the way to London for Haig Club London as a brand influencer for Malaysia, where I will meet other brand influencers around the world for dinner with David Beckham and to celebrate Haig Club in style. It’s been a fabulous experience thus far and I’m loving every bit of it!

All set for my London trip!

Good to return after a few years. :)

It’s been a crazy month preparing for my London trip, while juggling between work and blog commitments. I’m so glad and blessed to have great support from rif — he did his best as a husband and blog manager to ensure I keep to my hectic schedule and focus on what needs to be done. I also have to thank Sharon and Cynthia from Wedding Isle Gallery, for my fabulous gown that I will be wearing to dinner. And special thanks to Ann for insisting I rock Haig Club London in style and connecting me with the two ladies.

Thank you Mori Pin, for the gorgeous Swarovski clutch which I will pair with the gown. I feel so blessed to have sponsors like them, and they always strive to ensure I look my best.

First Class flight. Thank you Malaysia Airlines, for the upgrade!

I was due to fly Business Class to London, via our national carrier Malaysia Airlines but the folks at MA upgraded me to First Class upon learning of my departure. The First Class experience has been nothing short of amazing. From priority check in to boarding the flight, I felt like a VIP. Thank you Malaysia Airlines, for further complementing my “travel in style” to Haig Club London!

I have my own cabin, a seat that fully reclines, yummy food and best of all, personalized service from the crew. I have two dedicated crew at my service! Slept through the the flight as the bed was rather comfortable and I had plush pillows to rest my head on. Slept for a good 8 hours before waking up for a snack, followed shortly by breakfast. I feel so, so spoilt!

Satay and Dom Perignon 2004. Life is good!

Thank you Yap, Mazlina & Chua, for making sure I had a fabulous flight!

London is cold this time of the year; I don’t remember it being this cold when I was a student but according to the weather forecast, it’s 9 degrees and raining. Here’s hoping I can still be stylish in this weather. I will try my best to stay connected and do regular updates. Stay tuned! :)

*Landed safely and am in my hotel as I post this.
