The Rocks Markets

I was told to check out The Rocks Markets in Sydney when I was there last July and managed to do so the day before I flew back home. The Rocks Markets is home to more than 200 stalls along the quaint cobblestone laneways and you can find a variety of things from fashion and accessories, art and photography, to stalls serving up delicious bites.

rif and I weren’t looking to buy anything specifically; we simply wanted to experience the market. There’s just something about markets in a foreign country that appeals to me. Everything looked and smelt great. Plus the weather was cool and perfect for strolling around.

If you’re feeling peckish, there are food stalls available at the front of the market – serving German hotdogs, gourmet burgers, Japanese snacks, skewered meats and more. We tried a gourmet burger and a hotdog (AUD 10 each) and both were decent. And I love how everything is so photogenic in Sydney! :)
