rif is a big fan of the mille crepe in Nadeje and has been looking forward to the shop’s opening in PJ. The place is like a mad house during weekends. Most people resort to take away their mille crepe but since I managed to get a small table, we ate our cakes there.
We tucked into an insane amount of cake that day – six slices! The Original Mille Crepe (RM9.50) was as good as the one I tried in Malacca. Aromatic from the vanilla beans, the crepe with custard and fresh cream was soft enough to cut with a fork, yet firm enough to hold its shape.
Cheese Mille Crepe (RM9.50) is quite decent, but not my type of crepe. If you’re one who likes a bit of zest in your cake, this is the mille crepe for you.
The Mango Yogurt Mille Crepe (RM9.50) is a good option for those who like their cakes moderately sweet. Made with mango puree, yogurt and cream cheese, it was less creamy compared to the original mille crepe.
I also liked the Double Chocolate Mille Crepe (RM9.50), a dark chocolate crepe with dark chocolate cream, chocolate chips and chocolate ganache. This was bittersweet without being overly cloying. Of course, I wished I had another two people to share this with us as by the time I was done with all the cakes, I felt like one myself!
rif liked the Dark Chocolate Cheese Cake (RM9.50), made using 65% dark chocolate. Texture was dense and smooth, with a rich aftertaste. Definitely made for sharing. The Pineapple Nama Donut (RM7.50) was picked because it looked interesting. But I wasn’t a fan of this – the cake was a tad sweet and I didn’t fancy the foam-like texture.
The shop is small and can seat a maximum of 25 people at a time. Not ideal if you’re planning to bring a girl on a date because people will be crowing around your table waiting for you to finish your cake. I got really annoyed at that.
If my mum knew how much cake I ate that afternoon, she might throw in a good spank with her legendary bittergourd and kailan juice. Haha!

Woah….average 3 slice per person! *geng ler….
Hahaha I am hero! 😀
Gosh… I thought the crowd would be less by now but it doesn’t seem like it.
I think the shop is too small. Hopefully they will consider expanding…
