More kindness for the kids…
People have been generous to the Myanmar kids, and I am very grateful for all their help. rif’s parents have been great. His father rang up an old friend from a charity organisation. He informed the friend about me and the kids, and he gave me plenty of things for the children.
The items are:
- 20 bags of rice (5kg)
- 15 large packets of mee hoon
- 3 large bottles of cooking oil
- New schoolbags and stationary
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Maggi noodles
- Clothes
There were plenty of items, so I gave some rice & mee hoon to Friends of Kapar. I’ll be sorting out the clothes and giving some to them too.
Christopher Lee from Fun Kee gave me a bag of Milo to pass to the kids. Thank you! I also received RM200 from Uncle Yong (a friend of rif’s father) to buy more food for the children.
Last week, one of my readers, Vithia emailed me. She wanted to give some storybooks to the children. I collected them from her yesterday (16th October 2010). She also gave me RM100 for the children. Thank you so much Vithia! It was nice meeting you. 🙂
I’ll be seeing the kids really soon (this Tuesday), and I can’t wait. Miss them already…
