Purradise Cat Cafe in TTDI is a cat friendly outlet that aims to support and improve animal welfare and their holistic wellbeing. The cats are rescued and encouraged to interact with visitors at the cafe, in hopes of finding them a good home.
This cafe runs on the idea where you can come in for something to drink and nibble, and be surrounded by cats. It costs RM15 per hour, inclusive of a smoothie or fresh juice. There is also an unlimited time package where you pay RM39 for unlimited hours at the cafe, inclusive of one free smoothie/juice and bottomless ice lemon tea.
Purradise Cat Cafe has a small menu which doesn’t seem to bother many, as most are there for the cats. So was I. The cats were friendly — some more than others, and they had soft, silky fur from the feed given. I was told the cafe owners prepare fresh cat feed daily to ensure all cats receive the best nutrients.
I find that a little quality cat time calms my nerves and rectifies what went wrong earlier in my day. There’s something very therapeutic about coming to Purradise Cat Cafe; the ambiance, the setup and most of all, the (friendly) cats. 🙂
