Hard Hat Tour

Targeted to open to public this November 1st, I was given a Hard Hat Tour of The Roof last weekend. While the outlets were still undergoing construction, I was bowled over by the magnificent view of the city skyline and its surroundings from Stratosphere; a luxury rooftop champagne bar nestled on top of an infinity grass helipad. This is said to be Asia’s first and only green helipad bar, for now.

I think it’s a great place to have a garden wedding – think beautiful flower arch and the stars gazing upon you as you utter your “I do”. Ok fine I watch way too many romantic movies haha.
Every outlet promises customers a unique experience – from state-of-the-art staging, audio & visuals at Play to a chic dining experience at Signature. I’m quite keen on checking out Malt & Leaf, The Roof’s cigar and whisky bar that carries a collection of single malts and cigars. I’m in it for the whisky, not so much the cigar.
Score is a casual sports bar that aims to feature live telecasts during major sporting events. Not my kind of place, but definitely rif’s type of hangout since he’s a football fanatic. That way, he can come here to scream his lungs out and leave me in peace at home lol!

All in all, I think The Roof has a lot of potential given its location and unique concepts. I know I’ll be hanging out very often at Stratosphere and will probably visit the other outlets once things are up and running. Hopefully they are as impressive as what they’re said to be. :)

Sorry to hear you didn’t have a good experience Delian. I have yet to check the place out since the Hard Hat tour as I’m waiting for them to be in operation for a month or so.
Will update you if there are any improvements.
