I was feeling crabby after a not-so-good day, when rif decided to cheer with up with a gelato from Gelatissimo. After sampling 5-6 gelati, I decided on the Veronese Chocolate and Biscottino (RM13.90 for 2 scoops – cone, RM12.90 for 2 scoops – cup).
Biscottino is the Italian version of cookies and cream, with a stronger hint of vanilla. Veronese Chocolate is a ferrero rocher flavoured gelato. I actually wanted the rum & raisin, but it wasn’t as strongly flavoured as I like it to be. The two flavours above were quite good, but knowing me, I prefer a more dominant/alcoholic flavour.
They were quite generous with my two scoops of gelati. The picture was taken after rif ate a few bites as I was busy taking pictures of the shop. Until the gelati melted.

ice cream/ gelato really can be an instant mood booster sometimes! i guess it's the sweetness and the melt-in-the-mouth frostiness that combines for such a pleasurable effect 😀
Ferrero Rocher? Did I hear that correctly? I didn't know they have ice-cream with that flavour! Thank YOU for the info! Definitely going to pay this store a visit soon! 🙂
