Hush, Bangsar

I enjoy catching up with friends over drinks at someplace quiet. Of late, I like going to Hush, Bangsar with Jeen for martinis. Sometimes, Han or rif would join us. For ladies night, they have the buy 1 free 1 martini promo (RM18 per glass) which Jeen and I love.I had a Dirty Martini with Extra Olives, followed by a Cherry Martini. I also had a Glamour Martini, on the house. Jeen had a Glamour and a Cherry Martini. I’ve tried all the martinis on the menu, but I always order the dirty martini followed by either the Cosmopolitan or Glamour Martini. Cindy (PR Manager) came by for a chat, and offered us a piece of Snow White (cheesecake). They get their dessert and food from Flamenco in Damansara Heights. While the presentation was lovely, I found the cake alright. The biscuit base would have been better thicker, it was slightly soggy. The cheese was light and not overly sweet. However, I felt that the texture was “too mousse-y”. I prefer my cheesecakes to be dense. rif had a whole jug of beer himself, which explains the red face. The bill was RM81.40 (inclusive of service charge) for the martinis and a jug of Tiger (RM38)

Verdict: Decent drinks, affordable pricing. The ambiance is great for chats.
