The St. Regis Bali Resort is said to be one of the most stunning beachfront resorts in Bali and an afternoon tea session at the resort’s legendary King Cole Bar was almost impossible to refuse. The bar is a destination for classic cocktails and canapés, with a polished clientele of savvy travelers and local socialites.
Spending an afternoon at King Cole Bar was an eye opener for me. Service was warm and the food selection was rather impressive. I tucked into delicious bites of smoked salmon sandwich, quiche, pie and scones, with a nice cup of TWG tea.
The pastries were freshly baked and tasty in their own way; my favourites were the lobster pie, roasted beef roll and smoked salmon sandwich. And the freshly baked scones with clotted cream and housemade strawberry jam were so divine, I couldn’t resist another piece.
If you’re big on macarons, these little treats are pretty good here. Perfect sized, not overly sweet and with just the right amount of filling; tres yum!
King Cole Bar is also known for its Bloody Mary, something I plan to try when I visit Bali again. The lounge offers a full bar menu from Champagnes and martinis to island-inspired cocktails, all expertly prepared by the resort’s mixologist.
Overall, I was pleased with the food selection and service provided. While I didn’t manage to eat everything, the items I tried were of good quality and taste. The afternoon tea at King Cole Bar is priced at IDR350,000 nett per person and IDR100,000 nett per child.

Hi tracey,
It is a bit expensive, but the overall experience makes it worth it. Give it a try. 😉
They surely looks delicious! So, the afternoon tea comes with a free access to their snack & dessert bar?
