Food Vlog: Silver Spoon Trattoria @ Kepong

by Bangsar Babe

Half a year ago, I started my first food vlog. It took me 6-8 months of preparation before I took the plunge. This is the 6th episode of my food vlog. Enjoy!

i've never met chef ken before, but he seems like a nice guy, based on your clip. down-to-earth but passionate about his work 😀

I been to the place the ambiance and food is nice but I was disappointed with the wine, especially white as they do not have a proper chill room.
One of my visits, they have to soak the bottle of white wine in an ice bucket for more then ½ hr to get to the right temperature as the air-con storage room did not produce any chill effect to the white wine.

About to visit this place since my dad has the vouchers while I'll pay for the rest of everything. Looks like Silver Spoon has something in store for us when it comes to dishes and promotions.

P.S: For the record, I live near Menjalara! ^_^

v cool.. but i prefer your "street" ones more – like the charsiew one. More natural and energetic. your NRG levels for this one was damn low la.. how come?

C&C – I guess I toned down my "roughness" because the ambiance is better. LOL

Kenshin – Then you SHOULD pay them a visit. I go through three tolls for this, and it's worth the distance!

TY – I thought that big storage room is the chill room? Then again, I'm no wine expert so I don't know how to tell…

AugustDiners – Thanks babe! I had great help from the Silver Spoon team. All were so accommodating, especially Chef Ken. He was very sporting. 😉

Sean – You should meet him in person. Very nice guy and a good cook too!

Jason – No la. I ta pau the rest back. rif and I had a bit of everything. We finished the tiramisu, since it's so good! =D

*Nods*

I'd be there sometimes provided that I have considerable amount of money to pay for the awesome dishes.

Kenshin – You don't need a large amount of money to dine at Silver Spoon. But what you do need is a big stomach space! 😉

Lamb Shank (RM 38) + A glass of Sprite (RM 5) + Creme Brulee (some extra money for dessert) = I'd definitely come back for something unique again occasionally as the prices wouldn't be so bad despite the service and government taxes. Therefore thanks for recommending Silver Spoon to everyone. ^_^
