I have a habit of bookmarking pages, because I can never remember the links of the websites I want to revisit. I also don’t fancy giving away my email address when I subscribe to any newsletter – I tend to get a whole load of junk mail.
RSS Feeds give me updates on sites and news feeds in a quicker, hassle-free manner. I don’t even need to check back or be on the lookout all the time – iTalk Whoa! does it for me.
It delivers the headline, short summary and a link back to the full text every time an RSS news feed is updated.
Select the RSS Feeds under Mail panel and click on New Group to create a new category/group
A pop up box will appear and you can put any name for the new group – for example, Bangsar-bAbE
Just right click on the RSS icon and select ‘Copy Link Location’.
Automatically the News Feeds will appear in current Category Panel as below:
Easy peasy, don’t you think? Now, I don’t need to open so many browsers…YAY!
*sometimes, the link created does not appear immediately. Wait for a few minutes before checking if the link appears. Or you can logout and login again into iTalk Whoa! to view the link.
