My former flatmate, Kinga came to London to meet me, after two years of keeping in touch via FB and email. Despite being 8 hours apart, we still made the time to see how each other were doing and what’s new in our lives. But there was only so much we could say online.
We went for coffee at Starbucks, popped by Kensington Creperie for lunch, and walked around Portobello Road and Notting Hill. Basically, we spent the whole day catching up on everything that has happened in the past 2 years.
Quirky blue house.
The guy who helped us take this picture tried to ask me out after that. He was quite polite, but I declined (obviously). But it was by far the most polite approach I’ve gotten.
Then we did more shopping at Oxford Street and had more coffee at Starbucks before sending her off at Kings Cross Station. I wasn’t sad this time around, because I knew I was going to see her again, in Luton. ;)
