The Myanmar kids hardly get to go out, so Christy and I threw a party for them to have some fun — it was our belated birthday celebration. Sanjeev and gang (from the Rotaract Club) joined us, together with Wei Ling and Daniel. My friends Hanim, May, Susan and Yen Yen came too.
Thank you all volunteers, for making the event a success. The kids had a blast! We managed to get a good deal for the food catering — all the volunteers chipped in at least RM25 per person.
I forgot what this is called, but Susan and Yen Yen bought them for the kids. I played along. =P They also bought bubble kits so the kids had a blast playing with them in the pool.
Thanks for coming Wei Ling & Daniel. And thank you for buying the kids KFC for lunch the day before!
The kids were such darlings. They made us birthday cards!!
And then Claudia decorated Christy’s face with cake.
Christy decided to do the same to me. And then the cake fight started. Claudia ran away. That lucky girl!
rif helped set up the tables and chairs, and coordinating with the volunteers. Christy, Claudia and I went to Puchong (with the other volunteers) to pick the children up. Thank you for supporting me!
