Alamanda Putrajaya Part 1 – Check out my battle scars!

by Bangsar Babe

When I first heard of Alamanda Putrajaya a few years ago, I brushed it off as a boring place, without even paying it a visit. Last week, I was forced to eat my words, after a day trip with a group of bloggers.
The day started with breakfast at Ipoh Old Town — good timing, as I was getting grumpy without my morning coffee. We were treated to nasi lemak, kaya toast and a choice of white coffee or tea. While some people dug into their plates of nasi lemak, others (like myself) started camwhoring.

We made a quick stop at Quiksilver, since we were told we get a 70% discount on their items. Turned out, the 70% discount was only applicable for the guys, so Josh went on a spending spree — maybe he also grows money on trees. Muahahaha…Then, off we went to Putrajaya Challenge Park for rock climbing. I told them I WOULD NOT rock climb, as I didn’t want to bruise or hurt myself. But everyone kept persuading me to give it try. I gave in….

Finally, the top!

And got THIS in return.

Battle scars!

I wanted to say, “Don’t ever rock-climb, ever!”, but truth be told, it was fun! And the liberating feeling when you get to the top (OK fine, I didn’t have to climb very high, but it’s still an achievement for me) is addictive.

We were done by 1.30pm — I was so hungry, I almost ate Rebecca in the bus. Lunch was at Pullman Hotel. The landscaping is amazing, and each part of the hotel has a different theme.

Thank you Pullman Hotel for lunch! *BURP*

Part 2 coming up soon. Stay tuned!

Ouch! That bruise looks painful. Never tried rock-climbing before. For a first-timer like you, I must say you did great girl. I think I would have given up after the 1st step! LOL
