These were served at the official press launch of the Miss Malaysia Universe 2009 in MEZZE Tang’s Pavilion KL. As one of last year’s finalists, I was required to look my most glamorous – elegant long evening gown and an updo. o_0
I’m DEAD SERIOUS. I would have loved to gorge on that whole platter myself (especially the drummets), and wallop the mini cakes while I’m at it. BUT…must act glamorous! Plus, I don’t like having to stop eating every 30 seconds to pose for a picture. Very leceh you know!! T_T
I only ate ONE mini cake (the cheese & chocolate one), and I took 6 dainty-until-can-die bites. I could have easily shoved 3 of these in my mouth at one go. *wails loudly*
So. No food review. BUT…………….if you kepoh want to see vain photos of me (I HARDLY CAMWHORE) and the other leng luis, you might want to keep scrolling down.

Hey! That’s so cool. (I just realized that’s why you had that Miss Malaysia Universe Flickr thingy on your page. Oh man, I’m so dumb sometimes.) I think pageants like this should have food eating contests as part of the judges’ criteria for selecting winners. All that food looked too good not to be able to cram it into your mouth. I’d love to see these beautiful contestants walking around stage with drummets in their hand and cake crumbs around their mouths. Gorgeous photos!
