Rojak @ Taman Bahagia

After our satisfying lunch, rif took me to the rojak stall opposite the Taman Bahagia LRT station. The owner operates his rojak business from his van parked at a lane, with some plastic stools and tables for people to sit and eat. I didn’t feel like eating there, so we had ours to go. The rojak biasa cost RM4 per packet. We bought 2. The plain rojak contains crispy prawn fritters, bean curd, julienned turnip and cucumber, fried coconut fritters, one hard-boiled egg and normal fritters. You can add sotong if you want, but I didn’t care much for it. I like the peanut sauce – mildly spicy with a rich and fragrant nutty texture. Nice!Rojak Van

Your stomach capacity never fails to awe me! Rojak after lunch? It does look good enough even for a full stomach though!

Tried another Rojak place in Section 17 PJ last week, was pretty good. Pity all the older Rojak sellers are phasing out these days. Very few good ones still around!
