Stuttgart is the capital of the state of Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany and is said to be the sixth-largest city in Germany. From Heidelberg, rif and I took a train to Stuttgart for a bit of sight-seeing before calling it at day. A pity we were there for just a couple of hours. I would have loved to explore the area a bit more. Here are some pictures from my Europe trip.
This largest square in the centre of the city of Stuttgart is also home to the Neues Schloss
The Neues Schloss (New Palace) was built between 1746 and 1807. It is not usually open to the public as the palace houses the Ministry of Culture and Finance. Visiting days are announced in the newspapers.
Sigh…I miss Europe! Maybe I should start buying the lottery every week. If I were to strike once, I can go around Europe again. =D
