rif and I checked out this new ice cream parlour in Bangsar called Inside Scoop, said to serve premium ice cream with no artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives. It was their first day of business as they were still in the midst of getting things up and running smoothly. Most of the ice cream flavours were pretty standard but according to the owners, they are still in the midst of introducing new flavours so expect to see more in the next few weeks.
I sampled a few before deciding on pistachio, hazelnut and strawberry yogurt. Each scoop cost RM7.80 and the more scoops you go for, the cheaper. I liked pistachio best, followed by hazelnut. Both were smooth, rich in flavour and with just the right dose of nuttiness. Strawberry yogurt was the least exciting of the three flavours for me. That said, it was not bad — a matter of preference, really.
They also have durian ice cream but that’s one flavour I would avoid, since durian ain’t exactly my thing. Overall, I enjoyed the ice creams and pricing is quite competitive.

Verdict: From what I tried, the ice cream’s pretty good. Let’s hope quality remains or improves. 😉
