crunchy outside soft inside. best eaten hot. smelly if don’t eat but yummy when you eat with the pickles and chilli sauce. last time i don’t like the smell but once i’ve tasted it, i love it!

OMG! I smelt & tried one of these while I was in HK. The stench was SO STRONG! I couldn’t really eat it either! My reaction was pretty much like yours, only I wasn’t quite as brave like you to be standing so near the stall with the smell just wafting from it. Oh gods.
Don’t eat it. Pity your tummy and tastebuds haha!!

Awww…..i disliked the smell as well, but when I was in Taiwan, i had this at EVERY night market there! haha, and all the different ways of cooking! cmon Sue, 1 more time…it’ll taste better
