Mango loh is a dessert of finely shaved ice, mango puree, sago pearls and fresh mango cubes. This is something I enjoy having when it’s a hot day, as it is a refreshing treat. My last visit to KTZ Kepong was 4 years ago (I frequent the SS2 branch), and the stall was cleaner and more cooling.
Sadly, the mango loh (RM5.50) didn’t taste as good as before. Portion was smaller and the mango puree was a tad sweet.
The peanut butter tong sui (RM2) was more diluted compared to the one from KTZ, SS2. While it was still creamy and smooth, I wasn’t pleased about how the tong sui’s thickness (or lack of). I hope they didn’t deliberately add water to get more out of it.
