Home Uncategorized Call me bluff

Online media is so popular right now, even chefs are reading food blogs to find out what bloggers have been saying about their food. I was sent on a job to a restaurant launch recently and didn’t find the food very appealing. So I sampled a little of each item (enough for a write-up) and stopped at that.

“Girl, why are you not eating? There’s plenty of food…eat more la!” said the executive chef. Not wanting to be rude, I told him I was watching my diet (OK I lied).

“Don’t bluff me. I read your blog all the time. I know you eat a lot!” the chef snorted.

*awkward smile* Told the chef I wasn’t very hungry as I had a large breakfast and vowed never to use that cover line again.

Hmm. Maybe should have outright explained to him, so improvement can be done.

J – Hahaha…I'm pretty sure he read this lor. I felt bad at that time. Hate it when I'm asked to keep my comments to myself (one of my company's clients).

J2Kfm – If it was for my blog, I would have.

But it's work-related, and the boss wants to keep this client. So I'm asked to be as "polite" as I can. ~_~

David – Hahaha…I'm animated. =P

TL – Then he knows what I really thought of the food lor.
