Home Food Reviews Indomie Ayam Goreng @ Restaurant Sun Fatt Kee

I had the Indomie Ayam Goreng at Sun Fatt Kee yesterday and was very disappointed with it. My initial order was the mee goreng ayam, but the order guy managed to persuade me to try the indomie. rif stuck to the nasi lemak ayam goreng. The indomie tasted like indomie, which you can make at home! I expected it to be fried like the mee goreng. Arrrggghh…I shouldn’t have listened to that guy. The chicken was good and the yolk was runny, BUT the indomie spoilt the dish. o_0

My recommendation for best Indomee Goreng is the version served up at Bestari (Desa Sri Hartamas, various).

Order it with ‘burger daging’ which is a Ramly beef burger patty half cooked, minced up, and re-fried with the Indomee. Plus of course a ‘telur mata kerbau’.

Hits a spot!

Note : Can be a ‘burger ayam’ if one does not take beef, but doesn’t taste quite the same.

Leonard – Ahahahaha…you sound like you’re a telur pro! =P

Aiyo…mamak where got presentation one? ;P

DF – I’ve tried the indomie goreng biasa at Bestari, but have never heard about the ‘burger daging’ version!

Thanks for the info! I’m sure to try it when I’m nearby.. =D

omg..u went back there again~ After I read your previous post i went back there couple of times..kekek

lol, it sure do is the normal indo mee that we can cook at home, just that you need to tell them fried more dry, then it will taste nice. If not usually the whole indo mee is kinda wet and sticky.

SimpleGirl – I think I was unlucky, got the broken yolk. rif's egg was nice and round. =P

CUMI & CIKI – Hahaha…true also. Liddat better I cook at home, and buy only the chicken! =D

The chicken was savoury & infused with spices. Crispy and shiok!

Leo – Ahahaha…you can ask them if they need a new "egg fryer"! =P

taufulou – I dowan to eat the indomie de…next time I will insist on my MEE GORENG! ;)

I normally ask them to chop up the chicken and serve it on a seperate dish. The BKT stall next to the mamak has also satisfied my BKT cravings before ;)
