I finished work a little late last week and felt like having banana leaf rice. My favourite BLR place, Devi’s Corner closes at 9pm, so I was left with Sri Nirvana Maju (since I didn’t feel like driving out of Bangsar).
I had the banana leaf rice and a piece of fried chicken. I love my rice laden with curry (nasi banjir) and I like the fish and chicken curry combo best. As usual, the chicken was overfried. The skin was crispy, but the chicken was dry except for the center. o_0 
The banana leaf rice cost RM5 while the fried chicken cost RM3. Price-wise, it is cheaper than Devi’s Corner, but the latter offers a better selection of side dishes and juicier chicken.
Ambiance: 5.5/10
Price: 7.5/10
Food: 6.5/10
Verdict: Decent banana leaf rice but the chicken tends to be over-fried.
