Home Food Reviews Super Kitchen, Dataran Sunway

Last Sunday, rif and I tried Restaurant Super Kitchen’s Chilly Pan Mee at Dataran Sunway. This is a branch of Super Kitchen (opposite Kin Kin Pan Mee) at Jalan TAR, KL so you don’t have to brave the KL jam to get your pan mee fix.We both ordered the Chilly Pan Mee which took about 15 mins to arrive. Topped with the usual minced pork, anchovies and poached egg, we mixed the spicy, aromatic chili provided with our noodles till it turned fiery red. The pan mee here is pretty good. The noodles were cooked just right and the poached egg gave it a glossy smooth texture to contrast the crispy anchovies. The restaurant is air conditioned so you don’t have to sweat buckets while eating the spicy noodles. They didn’t have much drinks selection. Only canned drinks and leong cha were available that night. Overall, we quite liked the pan mee, rif more than myself. Service was quite satisfactory and the bill came up to RM 14 including 2 canned drinks. Would come back again to try the curry version as I spied someone from the next table eating it. :)

Ambiance: 6/10 (air conditioned)
Price: 7/10
Food: 7.5/10
Verdict: Pretty tasty pan mee, reasonable pricing and better location.

Absolutely delicious chilly!!! Certainly not for the light hearted people. A must try for people who want to try “something different”.

Yup. Those who can’t take spicy food can always go for the pan mee in clear soup.

We should have ordered some sui kows to try that day…looks quite big and nice.
