Home Food Reviews Delicious, Bangsar Village 2

I got the Friday off since it was a public holiday for KL. rif had to work since he works in Selangor…nyek nyek nyek. Met up with Jeen for breakfast at Delicious. She was running a little late so I waited for her inside. The service was appalling. The waitresses did not bother to bring me the menu even though I was seated for quite some time. I waited 20 mins before having to call for the menu myself. 0_0
We ordered 2 poached eggs and a flat white each. Jeen had a side of cherry tomatoes with hers.

Flat White (RM 7.90)

The coffee came with two pieces of biscotti. It was creamy with a smooth, silky texture and a foamy top with some sort of “latte art” on it.

Poached Eggs (RM 7.90)

Cherry Tomatoes (RM 2.90)

The eggs were almost roundish with runny yolks and served with a piece of toasted bruschetta. With some pepper and a shake of salt for flavour, it was good. The cherry tomatoes were a delight. Sauteed till tender, it was perfect with the yolk-drenched toast.

I enjoyed my breakfast, but didn’t think the service charge was justified. The bill came up to RM 39.68 including 5% tax and 10% service charge. They really should buck up on their service as I think it was completely unacceptable.

Ambiance: 7/10
Service: 2/10
Price: 5.5/10
Food: 7.5/10
Verdict: Really sucky service but pretty good food…for breakfast at least.
