After dinner, we went to OChaCha at The Gardens for desserts. rif and I shared a Topsy Turvy Brownie. It is actually a brownie slice topped with green tea cream cheese. The combo of cream cheese with green tea was lovely and it complimented the brownies well. However, I still prefer my brownies to be laden with chocolate fudge and topped with vanilla ice cream…hehe. 😛
We also shared an OChaCha Freezzie (large). This one scored points from me. It was thick but not sickly rich and they were quite generous with the green tea powder. Made me wish I had ordered my own cup.
Tgin had a Panna Cotta and an OChaCha Latte while Jeen could only manage the latte before she explodes. The Panna Cotta, known as ‘cooked cream’ in Italian was delicious. Soft, creamy and silky smooth custard pudding with hints of green tea flavour in every spoonful. Ahhh….shiokness. 🙂
Desserts cost us RM 48.80. Not cheap but it works out to be about the same or slightly more expensive than Starbucks or Coffee Bean. I wouldn’t mind going there again but not on a regular basis. P-O-K-A-I la..(unless any of you would like to belanja me…kekeke :p)
Verdict: A nice place to hangout for quiet chats and lovely green tea goodies.
